After a windy Uber ride up and down San Francisco hills, my driver let me off a few blocks from Green Apple Books. A farmers market had taken over the streets, with tons of fresh produce, flowers, and the feeling of a street fair.
It was a pleasure to explore the iconic bookstore, which boasted new books and used, creaky floorboards, wonderful nooks and crannies, and a collection of African masks.
Booksellers George and Skyler were lovely, especially George who, despite the large amount of BabyLit stock, apologized they didn’t have a copy of every single BabyLit book, and promised they would order them in!
Green Apple Books is #2 on my 30 Bookstore BabyLit tour.
